Good shakeout signal before MaraTANA

This was a useful pre-race shakeout because it stayed short, light, and uncomplicated. The run had the usual city interruptions and some erratic GPS, but the overall job was clear: wake the legs up, move a little, and finish feeling looser than you started.

The best signal here is how normal the session looked. Legs felt normal, sleep was decent, and the short strides gave you a little pop without turning the day into work. That is exactly what you want the day before a race when the goal is to arrive calm, sharp, and not overcooked.

The caution now is simply not to spend energy mentally or physically before the start. This run already did enough. The next step is to trust the block, keep the evening simple, and let MaraTANA be about enjoyment and smooth execution rather than forcing a target that is not there.

Takeaway. Good pre-race signal. The shakeout did its job, the body looked responsive enough, and the priority now is to stay relaxed and arrive tomorrow with calm legs and a clear head.

Next step. Time Trial. Treat MaraTANA as a controlled race effort with freedom rather than pressure. Start patient, let the first kilometres come to you.
