The 6 x 1 km workout was strong, so the long run needs protection

This was an excellent interval session: 11.8 km in just over one hour, with a challenging but well-managed effort despite GPS inconsistencies around buildings.

The 1 km repetitions were mostly faster than the planned controlled 10K range, with several reps around 4:45-4:50/km. That confirms strong fitness, but it also makes the workout a real quality session.

Because Sunday is a 165-minute long run, there is no need to replace the deleted easy run with anything meaningful. Saturday should be rest or only a very short shakeout.

Takeaway. Do not stack extra work before the super long run. The quality session is already done; the next priority is arriving fresh enough to execute 165 minutes well.

Next step. W08D7 Long Run. Super long aerobic run. Keep it controlled, fuel early, and do not extend beyond the planned duration.
