This was a good short activation run before the half-marathon rehearsal: 5.2 km with normal legs, low average heart rate, and no meaningful fatigue left behind.
The displayed pace looks a little quicker than planned, but the actual lap pattern and traffic interruptions show that the effort stayed easy and controlled.
The only caution is sleep. With a low sleep score, the first kilometres of tomorrow's run should be used as a body check before deciding whether to progress.
Takeaway. Keep August 9 as a controlled 21K rehearsal, not the real race effort. August 23 remains the actual half-marathon test.
Next step. W10D7 Half Marathon. Controlled 21K rehearsal. Run the full distance, but keep it progressive and sustainable rather than all-out.
