Threshold session landed well, with a strong final rep

This was a very good interval session after Sunday's controlled 24 km run: 9.1 km in under 54 minutes of moving time, with normal legs and a low average heart rate despite short sleep.

The first two 10-minute repetitions were controlled, while the final repetition became much stronger, close to 4:55/km. That is a good fitness signal, but it also means the workout should be counted as real quality.

Because the week still includes a major marathon-specific long run on Sunday, the next two runs should stay easy and supportive rather than adding more intensity.

Takeaway. Your available running days are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Keep that structure: quality Tuesday, easy Thursday, short easy Saturday, long run Sunday.

Next step. W11D4 Easy Run. Easy aerobic run to absorb Tuesday's threshold work and keep the legs moving before the weekend.
