This easy run started faster than planned because of the cold morning, with the first three kilometres around 5:47-6:04/km.
The important correction is that the effort settled after the early kilometres. The TCX shows 9.12 km in 56:50 moving time, with 149 bpm average and 166 bpm max, which is controlled enough for an easy aerobic day.
The best signal is that the run finished with the feeling that there was a lot more available. That is exactly what we want before the weekend, as long as Saturday stays short and easy.
Takeaway. Cold starts can make the first kilometres too fast. For the next easy run, start deliberately restrained and treat the session as preparation for Sunday's marathon-specific long run.
Next step. W11D6 Easy Run. Very short easy run before the big Sunday long run. Keep it relaxed, boring, and intentionally light.
