This was a strong W14D3 interval session: 11.7 km in 1h06, with normal legs, good sensations, and solid execution despite rain during several intervals.
The workout was faster than a conservative threshold session in several moments, including some lively kilometres and one very fast split around 4:51/km. That confirms fitness, but it also means the session carried real load.
At this point of the marathon block, the goal is no longer to prove fitness. The big work is already done. The next step should be an easy run that protects freshness and helps absorb the workout.
Takeaway. Fitness is clearly there. From now on, the priority is not adding more intensity, but arriving fresh, confident, and healthy to race day.
Next step. W14D6 Easy Run. Easy aerobic run to absorb Thursday's threshold work. Keep it relaxed, controlled, and intentionally non-heroic.
