This was a reassuring race-week easy run: 6.2 km at 6:47/km, with normal legs, a controlled 143 bpm average heart rate, and better overall sensations after getting more rest.
The pace remained comfortable and the effort settled naturally during the second half. There was no sign of accumulating fatigue, and the brief knee discomfort disappeared quickly without affecting the run.
At this point the marathon preparation is complete. The body looks ready, so Saturday should simply preserve movement and confidence without adding any new training stimulus.
Takeaway. Keep Garmin's original structure intact for the final shakeout. Run the 20 minutes comfortably, use pace only as a loose reference, and avoid adding extra work before race day.
Next step. W16D6 Easy Run. Final 20-minute easy shakeout before the marathon. Keep it comfortable and simple.
